As a multifaceted and complex field, cybersecurity requires more than just technical skills. With the growing impact of AI, the emergence of new technologies and the growing global skillsgap, a multidisciplinary strategy is crucial to address emerging threats and challenges effectively and encourage diversity, both today and in the future.
Isabel Höhn is an advocate for women in tech who has transitioned into cybersecurity from a different professional background. She holds a Master’s degree in IT Management and a relevant certification. Currently, she serves as the Cyber Security Channel Manager for the European region at Hays. In her role, she combines cybersecurity with human-centric approaches, leveraging her IT management expertise to address both technical and organizational challenges. Focusing on the intersection of cyber and human elements, Isabel helps organizations develop security and HR strategies that protect digital assets and improve business and employee resilience and awareness.
The Pop in Your Job: My drive in this field is boosted by the opportunity to demystify cybersecurity, making it a human and approachable topic. It’s about turning the abstract into the understandable, ensuring that everyone can participate in securing our digital future.
